Day 1 - Amsterdam

Arrive in the Netherlands and head straight over to your accommodation to check-in.

Next, visit Agriport, the Netherlands’ largest greenhouse horticulture region. Here you’ll get to see what happens behind-the-scenes in a fascinating greenhouse in which the most delicious peppers and tomatoes are grown, and of course you’ll learn how they are grown in a sustainable, eco-friendly and high-tech way. Later on, enjoy a walking tour in Amsterdam.

Day 2 - Amsterdam

After breakfast depart for a tour at the World Horti Center, a knowledge and innovation center for international greenhouse horticulture. A leading hub where business, education, research and government jointly innovate, connect and share knowledge.

Your day will continue with a visit to an Orchid greenhouse where you’ll learn about these fascinating flowers.  Afterwards you will join a walking tour in The Hague known worldwide for being the location of the International Court of Justice. However, it is also a city rich in history, culture and architecture.

Day 3 - Amsterdam

Your day will start with a visit to the Royal FloraHolland, one of the world’s largest marketplaces in the horticulture sector. It is a cooperative that connects growers and buyers with different parties in the floriculture industry and is leading the way in sustainable floriculture activity.

After your visit, you’ll head back to Amsterdam to enjoy an afternoon cruise of Amsterdam’s historic canals. A chance to sit back and relax!

Day 4 - Amsterdam

This morning see first-hand how cheese is produced with the latest robotic technologies and sustainability key in the process.  Afterwards, on your way back to Amsterdam visit the windmills of Schemerhoorn and Zaanse Schans.

Day 5 - Amsterdam

On your last day, you’ll visit the ‘Heineken Experience’ at Heineken’s oldest brewery, in the heart of Amsterdam. Learn about the brewing process and new innovations. After your tour it’s time to head home.
